The Magnetic Steel Thermometer allows the measurement of the substrate temperature to be immediately measured. This ensures that the substrate can be maintained at a temperature sufficiently above the dew point to prevent moisture forming on the uncoated surface.
The Magnetic Thermometer is one of the most economic methods of measuring the surface temperature.
The temperature is measured by means of a bi-metal spring mechanism. When the base of the case is held against a steel surface by the internal magnets, movement of the bi-metal strip is transmitted to the pointer and can be easily read by the operator.
Ideal for difficult to get at locations, the Magnetic Thermometer can be simply placed in a difficult location and will stay magnetically clamped until removed, enabling the temperature to be viewed without the need to carry or hold a separate instrument.
Does not require any batteries.
Calibration Certificate with traceability to UKAS is an optional extra. The Certificate is supplied in a paper format and is available online through the Calibration Portal (under Browse Categories) on this website. The Calibration Portal will list all your equipment that is calibrated by Paint Test Equipment, showing the renewal dates and allowing Calibration Certificates to be viewed at any time.
